The election officer of the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Barpeta has issued notification for election to the Deka Satriya and Satra Management Committee for Barpeta satra.

According to notification issued on May 25 vide memo No. BDD/107/2009/Satra/22 by BK Barua, election officer of Deka Satriya and Satra Management Committee election 2009-cum-Additional Deputy Commissioner, Barpeta the final electoral roll to this election will be published on June 16. Nominations will be accepted from June 9 to 12 between 11 am to 3 pm. Nominations would be scrutinised on June 15 and the last day of withdrawal would June 16. Polling if necessary would be held on June 28 and counting will also be held the same day.
